Open House at Stall Blombacke – See What Horse Bedding Manure Can Become

What can horse bedding manure become? Come and see the process in practice. 🌱🐴

Manpas will host an Open House on Saturday, 17 October, from 11:00 to 13:00 at Stall Blombacke, Veikan Kartano in Mikkeli, Finland.

Visitors are welcome to drop in at any time during the two-hour event to see a Manpas system in operation and learn how horse manure and used bedding are processed locally into a hygienised, more uniform biomass material.

You can follow the process in practice, see both the incoming material and the treated output, and discuss how locally generated biomass could be given a new use instead of simply being transported away for disposal or treatment.

The event will also feature Hevoskartanon Puutarha’s, hygienised horse bedding manure – a concrete example of how material generated at a stable can be turned into a usable product.

Open House special offer:
5 bags for €20

During the event, we will also discuss potential applications for treated biomass, including soil improvement, growing-media raw materials and other bio-based uses. We will also briefly introduce the ongoing KasKu project, which focuses on developing the utilisation of bedding manure and plant-based materials in alternative bedding and growing-media solutions.

Pea soup, Finnish pancakes and coffee will be served while supplies last.
